Awkward Family Christmas Photos
It's about this time of year that those awkward family Christmas photos start floating around the Internet. I've seen a bunch but this one is perhaps the most awkward that I have seen in a long time. If you have any please share them.

The Big Move
Well here it is the day before I move out of my house of 12 years, and now I have to deal with Hurricane Sandy. Luckily it looks like it will skip y the east coast of Florida with little or no effect. I certainly hope so. The last thing I need is ay kind of damage two days before closing.

Goodbye Coconut Bay. I'll miss you
-->
The move out of my house In Oyster Bay along the Indian River Lagoon is exactly one week away. I have mixed emotions about leaving the house I designed and built in 1999. After all I often thought that I would be buried in the backyard under one of my palm trees. But I’m single again and the house is too big for me and the upkeep too expensive.

I found a beautiful 2/2 Villa in Pointe West in Vero Beach with a great
view of the main gazebo from the front porch. I’ll be close to friends that
also live in the neighborhood. That was one thing that I lacked in Oyster Bay. Friends.
I have nice neighbors but no friends. Never hung out with anyone there and they
all seemed to keep to themselves. PW is a pretty, family neighborhood with
community pools, playgrounds a great golf course and club and Polo fields.
It’s very different from any place I have ever lived before.
I’m looking forward to it but will certainly miss my old friend in Oyster Bay.

Air boating at Stick Marsh!
I went on my first airboat ride this past weekend and I highly recommend it to everyone. It was really quit thrilling. There is nothing like sliding across a sea of water and grass. The location was the Stick Marsh west of Vero Beach Florida.
The stick marsh area and Blue Cyprus Lake are the headwaters of the St Johns river which is one of a few rivers in the USA that flow north. The St Johns and it's marshes run 310 miles north to Jacksonville. Created in 1987, the Stick Marsh/Farm 13 Reservoir is synonymous with trophy bass fishing. This 6,500-acre reservoir near Fellsmere, west of Vero Beach, became one of the hottest bass lakes in the country during the past decade.
We were treated to a variety of wildlife, numerous birds, deer and of course alligators, lots and lots of alligators. The pictures you see are of the boat we toured on and the type of scenery you will experience.

The Miami Dolphin Tradition Continues.
My son Eric has done a great job of raising a 3rd generation Miami Dolphin fan. Here is a great photo of the two of them together at a party my son was having for the Dolphins opening day game. The Dolphins lost to the Texans but Cameron didn't seem to mind. He still had fun. Wait until he gets older I guarantee he won't feel the same way.
Tablets and HTML5
I've been working with a group in Romania to develop a website for specifically for tablets utilizing html5. It's not as easy as you might think, it fact it's rather difficult. I found this really cool site that I'm trying to model mine after but for some reason we can't get the header and foot to stabilize. They tend to float on top of the page when you click on a nav link. If you have any suggestions I would love to hear them.

Cameron Turns 1
It was great being at my Grandsons 1st Birthday. Even though he was too young to know exactly what was going on he still had a great time. Lots of friends and family were their to help celebrate. Burgers, hotdogs, salads and lots of cake and games. It was truly a great time. And as you can see by the photo Cameron likes cake.

Hog hunting in Florida.
Let me tell you, this is one big gator. The hog was estimated at 40 pounds. Not to mention hogs are pretty fast when confronted.

Hibiscus Photo Art
I have recently started a new series of painting created from my photography. I know that might not make sense to a lot of purists in the art field but it makes me happy and I think it's beautiful. Here is my latest piece. It's a multi-colored Hibiscus that a friend of mine has in his backyard. I would love to hear your comments.

NBA Finals Game 4
I can't help but think that with all the talk about LeBron James the past two days regarding if he is or is not a good defender has him poised to shut down KD in tonight's game 4. I don't care if KD came out and back tracked from his earlier statements. It doesn't take much to fire up an athlete like LJ.
I'm looking for another Heat win tonight at home. But once again I think it will be a close game. OKC is that good. However with Bosh at what looks like 100% Miami is better.
GO HEAT!

NFL 2012
It's that time of year again when the smell of NFL Training camps are in the air. I like millions of others can't wait for the start of the new season. This year will be interesting for me for a number of reasons.
1. My favorite team the Miami Dolphins will be featured on HBOs Hard Knocks.
2. They have drafted a Quarterback in the first round since Dan Marino
3. Chad Ochocinco has joined the team.
4. They still have the hottest Cheerleaders of any team.

2012 NBA Finals
Is it wonder why I am rooting for the Miami Heat to win the NBA title this year. I think this picture speaks for itself.
